Ahoy, there Matey! This beacon of light is to help you avoid crashing into any one of life’s most jagged and dangerous rocks. Have you passed here many times before? And were you lost? Each time getting closer to harm than the time before. Nay! I am guided by the light! I keep it in my sight! Hopefully I’ll avoid most havoc and grief that life throws at me because I keep that little light, in my sight! Matey.
Hidden In A Rock
I live on the top floor right behind that window. Imagine what a view! Sometimes the moon’s right outside my window, way up in the sky. It’s as if someone hung it there, just to catch my weary eye. Laughter fills the Inn, especially at night. As I look around the room I see friends’ morning, noon, and night. Will this be the time you come with me–can we dream away the night?
Your Crystal Ball
Sitting on the fence post of life going nowhere. Does this sound like you? I gazed upon the ball to see what the future had in store for me. I saw a path, but was it going forward, was I seeing through the ball, or just a reflection of where I had come from? Our future has a “past” embedded in it, which has helped us to become the persons we are today. The path you see here has a guardrail. Use your guardrail, whomever or whatever that may be, and get on with thee! Don’t sit on the fence post much longer, or you will be left to ponder life, all alone!
Muddle In A Puddle
Splash! Splash! Splash! Oh, I hope I don’t get very wet. (Ha Ha) Who is that funny looking guy? I’ve seen him around the house before. Does he live out here too? Not only is it wet, but I see my reflection (a big people word.) I see a wavy me and also a wavy tree. Look! I can see underneath my shoe and also my tiny little butt. Do you suppose there are tiny fish in here? If you find yourself in a muddle, just go looking for a puddle. Who and what kind of reflection will you see?
Looking For Answers
Gazing out upon your beauty, listening to the crashing waves, I feel at peace, much like I do when I’m at home. What will tomorrow bring? How many more seasons till my life comes to an end? Questions without answers; is this how it’s going to end? I came, I saw, and I listened. I turned around to leave this place, and found in me a man. The answers that I had come for however, were still blowing in the wind.
Pathway To Your Heart
Day upon day, I walk one stone at a time, each stone harder than the last. I’m always thinking of ways to reach into your heart. The times we’ve spent together are etched into my mind. I can see them anytime I want to, if ever I go blind. Your skin is so beautiful, it causes me to wonder how I could be so lucky as to hold you in my arms. Your kiss, your lips never age with time. Will our lives always be a picture of this beautiful staircase that we share together, one stepping stone at a time?
Just Pleasing To The Eye
A Captivating Woman
What a beautiful and intriguing woman, is she a “lady of the night?” The colors of her clothing add much to my delight. Those eyes, those penetrating eyes, beg the question, “is she starring right at me.” If so, which me is she really going to see? Be aware, she’s looking at you now!
Well, I’m lost? Who will come to find me? No one knows I’m here. Each tree looks just the same. The green moss-covered forest bed does not reveal a trodden path. Why go through life alone? Most likely at the end, you’ll need help on your journey going to your final home. Did I choose my friends carefully so they are not the same as every tree that I go by. Will one come to rescue me–did I give them a reason why? In the distance I see a shaft of light. A friend that missed me came into my sight. I’m no longer lost–soon I’ll be home and safe again.
